 How to Care for Your New Whisk

Before First Use

  • Soak the whisk in hot water for 2 minutes to soften the bamboo tines.

  • The tines may appear slightly loose after soaking—this is normal.

 Cleaning After Each Use

  • Rinse the whisk gently with warm water only.

  • Use a soft brush to remove any matcha residue.

  • Avoid soap or dish detergents, as they can damage the bamboo.

  • Allow the whisk to dry completely in a cool, dry place.

 Additional Tips

  • Avoid using soap when cleaning the whisk.

  • Do not dry the whisk upside down on the handle (tines facing upward) as this may cause the tines to shrink or lose their shape.

  • Soak the tines in hot water for a few seconds before each use to soften them and make whisking easier.

  • Avoid applying excessive pressure while whisking to prevent damage.
